Day 17, evening

Anel received really good care today.

Not only did she see quite a few of her doctors and therapist but she also had a good friend spend half the day with her. She got the spa treatment and a full-body workout. :) The more activity she gets the better. We move her arms. We sit her up. We move her legs. OT will start working with her when she wakes up. Thank you friend!

On Tuesday next week, I’ll receive a full workup on the plan for Anel. I did get to talk with her case manager and the house supervisor and feel comfortable with them. We’re on the right path with a group that’ll help us move forward.

She opened her eyes throughout the day. I feel like she’s having small moments of connecting here and there. It’s a quick expression. We’ll take it a day at a time.
