Day 28, afternoon

Tuesday 5/25 pm

Anel had a great night. Vitals were perfect and I found her bathed with clean sheets this morning. Thank you Team Select! She looks like a princess. She looks 10 years younger.

I still went through the pillow/sheet routine. Used her toner, pulled bandaids off, and covered her up with all her Young Living oils. Her little hands are bruised from all the blood they pull so she get’s a helping hand of lavender and frankincense. YL also has an oil called Brain Power. . . uhhh yes please.

A voice box was added to her trach yesterday. They’ve done this a couple of times. Anel usually coughs too much and they take it out. They put a different size in this morning and she’s doing fine. She’s sleeping at the moment. I’ll be sure to post as soon as she says something. I can hear her tone when she coughs. Really exciting to hear. Another brick.

Yesterday she was loved on by her friend. Her hair was washed and she sporting braids today. My mom will be spending time with her today.

My tears recently have been from reflecting on the love and support and goodness of people around us. I’m so grateful, for those that are coming in, for those that have sent a gift, for my close friends that call me and ask me the tough questions. Deep questions first require deep relationship and I’m a lucky man to have a handful of real friends around me.
