Day 74 morning

Saturday 7/10, am

Anel and I just had the best morning in 74 days.

She was bright eyed when I walked in the morning which made me instantly smile ear to ear. I pulled down the side rail and asked her if she slept well. She nodded yes. Babygirl do you know I love you? Head nod yes. Do you love me? Head nod yes. She answered around 10 questions with a yes/no. This has really been the first time she’s answered so many questions in a row with such clarity.

She ate her breakfast in under 45 minutes. She was able to open her mouth wider for normal sized bites and she chewed much quicker. She also wanted to feed herself the yogurt. I’d get it on the spoon and she’d do almost everything else.

After breakfast she was trying to talk. We worked on all the basics, blowing, humming, and singing happy birthday. Singing is on the right side of the brain. Talking on the left. She really perks up when I sing. When she tells me to shut up we’ll know she 100% back. ;)
