Day 91

Tuesday 7/27, 12 am

Anel is doing well today.

Last night is when she seemed to escape the “postictal phase”, the time after a seizure. It seems like she back to her baseline or at least 85–95% of what it was.

I set her bed up as tall as it’d go and told her I was going to give her a hug. As soon as my neck got close, she buried her face in my shoulder. My face was suffocating in her pillow but I wasn’t about to move. She took long deep breathes. It was great to have a hug.

We’ll know more later today or tomorrow if we can get back into Zale. One step at a time. I’ll be posting a timeline later today of the dates and facilitates we’ve been at. Today is 3 months. It’s been a ride.
